    Hulu jacks up sound 2-3 times on Hulu ads and lately has been throwing in Spanish ads at the same decibel level. I do not understand Spanish nor do I want to subscribe to their Spanish station. STOP IT. Furthermore, Hulu will not answer these complaints and dismisses constant complaints from Hulu Community Feedback. Arrogant, poor customer service company. Making the ads loud will not make me buy the product, but just the opposite.
    Classic case of take something that works and destroy it (to make it better). It used to remember where I left off in a show, now it almost always restarts the program. I paid for the ad free content and still to this day have found almost NOTHING that plays ad free. The extra money for ad free is clearly not worth the limited content it actually applies to. The only good piece is it is still cheaper than comcast.
    I've never had issues with Netflix. Hulu has you login back and forth between two TV's non stop. Then, I save my password and it makes me reset constantly between each TV and retype and reset every time! If you don't have high blood pressure, you will if you sign up with Hulu! Worst wait for customer service too! Lol not worth the money I'll go elsewhere since so many streaming channels available!
    Worst of all my streaming services. I get to see more commercials than actual shows because after the commercial break it stops working. Either comes back and freezes or no sound. Oh and lets be serious, horrible commercials that repeat again and again. If you can get hulu to work for a few episodes it either starts the show back at the beginning or just turns off. No its not my internet. My speeds are very high plus no problems with Netflix, Amazon prime, F1, or Funimation. I doubt Hulu will ever be top notch. But it could try to be average.
    I'm so disappointed with Hulu. I had a favorite t. V. show that I use to watch on Hulu, now they have blocked me from watching it, calling it live t. V. How is it live t. V.? Netflix doesn't do this to customers, they charge one fee per month, and you can watch everything they have to offer. That's why Netflix beats Hulu. Hulu is a fairly new company to be charging so many high prices, along with their ads. I actually liked Hulu, because of its classic t. V. shows.
    First time cut cable to try Hulu live (over past 30 days) and will immed return to cable. No question. Only pro with Hulu is cost savings (approx $150/mos for basic cable pkg). Hulu cons: picture quality think cheesy motel 25 years ago; service interruptions every few days ("sorry, working to restore," svc can be out minutes if not hrs). Miz substitute for pic quality/service dependability of cable!
    Whenever the app won't work ( 70 % of the time) I go back to trusted Netflix. Looking up reasons why the app isn't working, you will discover a plethora of excuses none which Hulu takes responsability for. If you won't mind the frustration of paying for a worthless app, then Hulu is for you. This I know, you will spend a lot of time turning your device off and on as they suggest in their trouble shooting recommendations. Hulu is garbage while the company itself are thieves. Don't be a victim to the "Hulu excuses."Boycott these liers.
    I have some time on my hands these days and I wanted to watch some old housewives episodes. I found out that Hulu offers them, so I sign up and I start watching. 2 days in and I'm loving it! On the 4th day (took a break on the 3rd) I go to watch some More episodes and it says "this isn't included in your current subscription, we offer plans and add ons blah blah blah" who lets someone start watching a series and then says "WAIT! The $6.00 your are paying a month isn't enough, you now have to pay $62 bucks to continue watching it!? Hulu you guys did me dirty, that's not cool man.
    I pay for Directv. I don't need Hulu other than Directv removed all of the on demand content of past episodes and now Hulu has those rights. If I want to watch reruns of anything I either have to record it on my Directv genie and never delete it, or pay for Hulu. Well now Hulu wants me to sign up for their Hulu+TV just to watch certain shows. 100% will never ever pay Hulu a dime again. You're just effing with consumers to get every last dime from us. Later Hulu.
    Will not let me log into hulu, but shows account as payed... extreme long waits on hold time. Get a customer service rep after lengthy wait and he places me on hold while he locates my account. Like he has to go to a file room or something... this is the worst company with... indifferent... does not care about customers or service... they got their last money form me every...
    I signed up for Spotify which offered Hulu add on demand for free as a perk. Upgraded to Hulu live. Terrible service. Lips and speech always off sync. Canceled Hulu Live. Asked to be returned to Hulu perk as part of my Spotify. They refused saying when I upgraded to Hulu Live I forever lost my Spotify perk! How unfair and stupid from a business model I'd that! Avoid Hulu on demand or live at all costs!
    Hulu has raised their monthly fee and I cancelled because they're not worth the extra money. There's only one channel I really watch -- TCM. I'll figure out another way to watch it. When I told their representative I wanted to cancel (the week before the end of that month's subscription), they told me it would be yet another month before it could be cancelled. I don't like being hi-jacked when it comes to my money. They will never get my business again. They have entirely too many "junk" channels for my taste. I'm not that into sports, murder or news.
    Every time I try to contact support I'm either put on hold to the absolute worst cacophony of music (?), or I get cut off or both. They have a twitter account, put your complaints there, but it's not easy, either.
    I switched of Hulu over ATTTV Now streaming service and regret switching over. Hulu does not offer any of the black channels like BET or OWN. I called to voice my concern asked to speak with a manager and was basically told there nothing they can do. I was looking for more... they could at the very least said there working on getting these channels but nothing. Customer service is a joke and the service is constantly buffering. Definitely do not recommend Hulu and the new update sucks as well.
    The amount of commercials for payed members is ridiculous. Additionally they recommend things irrelevant to my preference. If you thumbs down something the still show you ads for that show. Very annoying. Lastly not trying to be political, but your ads and recommendations suggest you guys support Democratic views. I mean all the power to your opinion, but TV showed be suggestive like this.
    I downloaded Hulu in order to watch a few shows that Netflix doesn't offer. It was good at first paying $5.99 a month, I was fine with loud commercials (and commercials in general) but now this "Hulu plus live TV" whatever is the last straw for me. I had one specific show that brought me to Hulu...'Ghost Adventures' on the travel channel. I just happened to have some free time to watch some more episodes and Hulu took off the show I was watching and moved it to their Hulu live TV program, which is $64.99 A MONTH. Definitely not happening, ever since the stupid 'Damelio show' which coincidentally is no extra charge, this platform has really shown it only cares about overnight trends and fast money... hence bringing up the subscription by a dollar for half the shows requiring the $64 program. Make it make sense... In the end I would not recommend Hulu to anyone until they fix this problem and take the $64.99 junk plan off, and put it back how it used to be. Severely disappointed, it was a decent platform for a few months I will be cancelling my membership.
    There are way too many commercials. A 1:30 second commercial every 5 minutes. That's about 10 commercials if your watching a pretty long tv show. You pay 1 time a month for good old reliable Netflix and there are NO ADS. Do better Hulu, it shouldn't take 60 minutes to watch a 45 minute tv show. It has so many bad reviews for a reason. Hulu needs to take accountability and fix what everybody doesn't like about the subscription. Do better.
    I used to love Hulu so much but the quality of the app has gotten horrible over time. I've called the customer service center and they say they are aware of the issue but it hasn't been fixed. When you watch a series if you stop in the middle of an episode it won't play back from where you left off like Netflix. You have to either watch the episode again or you have to forward to where you left off. Omg Hulu get this fixed. Hulu doesn't remember what episodes you have watched if you start a series over. You literally have to write down where you left off before you log off or even pause the show for more than ten minutes. It's a hot mess. I want to cancel the account so much.
    I had Hulu for about one year. I cut the cord after being fed up with DirecTV; a great company ruined by AT&T. Hulu turned out to be very buggy, it would freeze up and make the TV completely reboot at least once a day. Also, and this was the most aggravating, even after paying the extra bucks for "commercial free viewing," the programming is full of annoying commercials - even the shows recorded to DVR. Get YouTube TV, there is absolutely no comparison to the quality: the software is solid and, guess what, there are very few, if any, commercials - and I didn't even have to pay extra!
    Get current content. Movies that are decades old. B reated movies. Multiple movies in the same line up. Just a complete waste of time. Shut hulu down and come up with another business plan. Sad to see a company charge for such garbage. You will be a thing of the past in tow to three years if not sooner. Waste on time and money.
    I am finding every review site I can to post my review of Hulu. It is by FAR the worst streaming service in the industry. It constantly buffers (and no, it is not my Internet service or speed). I have contacted them several times to complain. Get the same instructions to delete history, cache, etc. Never works, streaming is still lousy. I have several other streaming services, Netflix, Amazon Prime, as a couple examples. I can sit down, login, and watch uninterrupted shows for hours, but with Hulu, it takes hours to watch one show. A 43 minute episode can take over an hour (if I was a gluten for punishment and actually waited for it to buffer a million times during one episode). I even was recently put on hold from Hulu. I received an email telling me my account was on hold and would be cancelled if I didn't start watching again...?!?!?! WTF, who are they to tell me when and how much I am suppose to watch their crappy service. The insane thing about it is, I had actually logged on every night for a week trying to watch a series. I watched each night as long as I could until it started it's buffering every 30 to 40 seconds and then I would log out. When contacting customer service, they stated that they could plainly see I had been logged in over the past week... What a joke... WORST of ALL streaming services. Save your time, money and sanity and pay for a real streaming service, basically any service other than Hulu...
    I have tried Hulu+live on two separate occasions, for 5 consecutive months in 2020 then for 4 consecutive months in 2021 (through this month). I have experienced frustrating issues with crash to home, black-outs during innumerable loud commercials, temporary loss of all channels, frequent freezing/stuttering at all times. My customer service experience has been 1 positive call out of 7. The positive call CSR agreed with me that the issue was not my network (1Gb) or hardware or Fox :). He generated a ticket, but nothing was ever done about it. The other 6 calls were essentially script-readers who blame every variable other than Hulu. Hulu is the worst live streaming service I have encountered in 12 years of using streaming services. I am a technically savvy, ex-engineer (now retired). I am comfortable around wireless networks and streaming devices and am a proficient troubleshooter, which is why I could see through the canned CSR responses. Hulu really needs to take these technical issues seriously, and soon. Hulu does NOT have a significant industry moat.
    Hulu is a good place to watch all of my favorite shows like family guy or the Cleveland show I would recommend
    Someone used my information and created account an account and never used the service. I have been charged over $300 and when I tried to dispute it they said they do not refund fraud or any other disputes and that is their policy. They need to change their policy in the event of fraud because I cannot be the only person who had a fraud against them with a streaming company. Hulu(Disney)should be ashamed.
    Even though you pay the extra money for no ads, there are a TON! Greedy, corporate bastards... going to Sling. At least if I have to watch commercials it costs me half as much.
