I ordered a microwave directly off the Kitchen Aid website on October 25,2021
It has been delayed twice since then. Today I was notified that it was in and delivery was set up for February 22,2022.
When the charge hit my credit card, I got an email from my credit card company that the item was on sale.
$85.00 less than I was charged, I called and they told me they could not help me. I could however cancel the order and reorder it if I wanted to.We thought this 4 k refrigerator was quality but Kitchenaid does not stand behind their product. They replaced the doors and they are still crooked. The freezer door is crooked and constantly get ice on our food. We paid for an extended service contract and got nothing from buying it. The store says they will do something and then they ghost us.My order took a while as the item wasn't in stock. But they told me this upfront. Dealing with customer service was also a great experience. They were helpful & friendly. Received my package & everything is in good order.Don't order anything at all from KitchenAid. They'll happily take your money for your order but don't expect to see delivered anytime within the following year. They also won't bother letting you know why have not received your order or any other information about it. Their 'customer service' people's willingness to help get information is abysmal.
Ordered 2 top control dishwashers and a 48" gas range (which our kitchen has been built around) in March and not even able to get their calls returned to find out the status of my order.Kitchenaid has really declined in the "quality control". We bought, fridge (counter depth, freezer at bottom with water/ice), dual oven range (gas), dishwasher and micro. Currently only the microwave is working. Dishwasher leaking from underneath - have extended warranty but they can't seem to fix the problem. Been not working since June. Stove - top part of gas oven not preheating well (timed it and it takes about 60 min to get to 350) - plus the turn knobs for the range are melting/krinkeling because of heat from the oven and we don't leave the oven open; fridge is leaking underneath the deli tray and freezing, then defrosting and leaks out toward door. That was fixed 5/2020 and now doing it again. Kitchenaid wants to send service tech $139.95 per appliance and those fees do not go toward repair. Then need to pay parts and labor, unless a part is in the limited warranty, then you only need to pay for labor and service fee. Come on?!?! This is ridiculous. I will never buy Kitchenaid aide again and I'll encourage and inform everyone I know on social media about their poor quality of items and customer relations. This is not the way to keep customers. They should recognize when there is an issue and someone has spent about $10,000 on their appliances. Pictures below are of model numbers.Drawer microwave less than 2 years old. Internal "washers" that back metal screws fastening control panel to frame, literally disintegrated. Control panel still functions but can not be held in place without these plastic pieces. Customer service was 0 help. Until the panel fell off there was no way to see these parts.Ok, I have had this for a while and it was out of warranty. That being said I used it less then 5 times since the bowl kept flying off every time I tried to use it. My mother took it out to try to use it and of course it flew again. I told her it never worked right and she suggested I contact Kitchen aid since they should be able to advise. Live chat sent me to email, emailed a few times with photos and all. They sent me to customer service via phone. Called them who sent me to repair which was a 3rd party. Useless. Disappointed in the quality and lack of standby their product. I think there was a time they were good but sadly no more. I would not waste the extra money for a poorly backed product.Do not order from this company. If you need something from KitchenAid, go to its retailers. Their Website does not reflect current stock. When you purchase an item there is no communication that its on backorder (even after you filter is set in stock items) The delivery date is incorrect and customer service is no help. I will never use again.I own only kitchen aid appliances and tools. Will stock my kitchen with kitchen aid appliances as I go along.3.5 years after paying over $7000 for my Kitchen Aid refrigerator/freezer the water line in going to the water dispenser in the door has developed a random leak. Apparently, the only way to fix the leak in the line is to replace the door which is estimated to cost $1500. When I called into the service department for help I was told that this is not an unusual problem, but as their engineering department has not flagged this as a design problem I will need to purchase the new door out of pocket and the door will take a minimum of 8 weeks to be manufactured. Needless to say, I will not be buying another kitchen aid appliance.Recently bought a new house with brand new Kitchenaid appliances.
Microwave Hood Combination: Takes double the time of a smaller microwave to heat water (or anything else) but it looks good.
Electric Induction Range: Top already has a crack in it (we didn't drop anything on it). The oven takes a good 45 minutes to heat to 400 F (I sit and read the paper). The finger "touch" electronic controls are frustrating to use (especially the timer)
French Door Refrigerator: Shoots ice cubes all over the kitchen, leaks water out from under the metal under the water dispenser (don't know where this comes from but it also gets all over my hardwood floor). The freezer is so small that you can barely store anything in it. You have to open both doors to access anything in the main part of the fridge.
Steel Tub Dishwasher: seal pulls away constantly and so you get leaks all over the floor. (Our floor is hardwood, so not a good situation). We got tired of having to push the seal back in place so our "beautiful" dishwasher sits and does not get used. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND OF APPLIANCE!I had purchased a Kitchenaid blender and was quite happy with it. However, when I needed a replacement jar the item had been discontinued. What's the point of purchasing an expensive product if they discontinue the parts. Buyer beware and I suggest anyone needing a blender stay away from Kitchenaid and buy a cheaper blender that can be tossed out when it breaks. Same thing for KitchenAid food processors. Their mixers, however, do have parts available.Do you remember this old slogan of theirs? I sure do. I remain a huge fan and loyalist. The only car for me is a Volvo... and the only appliance for me is a Kitchenaid. Most of my appliances were made by KM:
Dishwasher, Fridge, Microwave, Washing Machine
I especially love my DW and WM as they are the old-school mechanical types as opposed to electronic... therefore easy to use and easy to repair. My most recent acquisition was the microwave... and it is a sleek stainless steel model that looks and behaves quite stylishly in my kitchen. I strongly recommend that KM keeps a few mechanical type appliances in their line, as not all of us are into the digital and electronic age. Five glorious stars for you, KitchenAid!6 years ago bought new Kitchenaid major appliances. Have now replaced all except the microwave. Due to whirlpools design $2 parts cannot be bought anymore and the entire assembly is needed. Making it less expensive to buy a new one. (And of course it will be another brand) It is sad enough the products are bad so is the customer service. When the dishwasher and stove were less than 2 years old, WP customer service informed me there was nothing they could do. They could have done any number of things, they just elected not too. Once a great company with great quality is now below average. Especially the service side.I contacted KitchenAid through their website on April 28,2021. That same day, I received a reply asking for my model # (relevant) along with a list of personal information that was completely irrelevant. My question was quite simple, and I was looking for a solution, or a recommendation to a better product of theirs to address my issue. My home address, phone number, etc., didn't seem like information they needed. I answered the questions I was comfortable answering that would not result in endless snail mail "offers" and/or put me on any other mailing lists.
I ended up getting NO reply. I contacted again on May 3, May 7, May 28, and June 7. I've yet to hear from them. Keeping in mind I was clear that I would replace my model with a beefier KitchenAid mixer, I can only assume that if you don't give them enough personal information, they don't want your business.
And now, when I replace it, it will NOT be with a Kitchen Aid mixer.Where do I start even?
Ordered in October - sent with wrong engraving.
Sent it back - came back broken with no engraving.
They gave me a small part refund and told me to send it back again.
Came back again with no engraving
Told I would get another part refund for the trouble
Got nothing. Told because of Brexit they can't give me a refund and promised a refund of 15% of the price of the product for the trouble,
Chasing, chasing, no response. I finally call them. They tell me no refund at all. As I got the part refund last time. Despite them making mistakes 3 TIMES AND PROMISING ME THE 15%
On top of that they hardly ever answer e-mail and you can never, ever get hold of any managers.
By a long shot the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life.
I had been resisting leaving a review for this long but they have rudely told me I will not be getting the refund THEY promised so this is an incredibly well-deserved review of them.I am currently having the worst experience ever with KitchenAid's customer service department. The top rack of my dishwasher broke so I contacted them because it is covered under my limited warranty. They agreed to send one of their contracted service people out. Then all communication stopped. Any question I had leading up to the service appointment was ignored. Then the service person shows up to my house and tells me that KitchenAid didn't tell him exactly what was wrong with the dishwasher. Upon inspection he tells me that he needs to order the parts from another location and that it will take about a week upon which time I need to schedule another service appointment with him. All of this could have been avoided had KitcheAid relayed which part needed fixing and the parts could have been ordered ahead of time. I called out of work for nothing. And when I contacted customer service again after this happened, I was once again ignored. Stay away from any product sold by this company. They don't give a crap about their customers.I have used these mixers for 30 years. I passed on my trusty Epicurean bowl lift mixer that had seen 20 plus years of major breadmaking. I wanted a bigger bowl. Got new mixer. The finish marred/scratched easily. The bowl vibrated when mixing. Long story short, Kitchenaid did send replacement BUT it was missing a beater. I put these mixers side by side and ran them. Replacement mixer had speed control issue too. Finally! I switched bowls and this fixed the vibrating bowl. Then I had to pack up second mixer and ship back. What a hassle! Kitchenaid WAS a reliable company. No more. And they've cheaped out on quality. Whirlpool is Kitchenaid. Spend money elsewhere.Blender, toaster, toaster oven all broke within 6 months. I need a stand mixer but will not buy a new one.I have a top-of-the-line KitchenAid gas range, KSGB900ESS0, original cost $2,400. Some parts of the oven are no longer in warranty. Two months ago, the oven would not go on and display was showing an error. I contacted the KitchenAid authorized repair. They came on site and determined 2 parts needed to be ordered. It is now 2 months later, and they are still waiting for the part. Every two weeks the authorized repair company would inform us that the part was due in 2 more weeks. I contacted the Whirlpool parts dept., KitchenAid's parent co. And warehouse. They said the part was still not due for another 4 months. Assuming the part arrives in 4 months, this is a total of 6 months without use of the oven.
I contacted KitchenAid several times and spoke to a higher level of support. The outcome was I just have to wait. My suggestion to get the same part, which was available from outside distributors, was not accepted. I suggested to get the part from an existing oven in their warehouse, or to just replace the oven were also rejected.
This is still a current model sold in most appliance stores. There is no reason for KitchenAid to not plan for parts to support their sales and customers. And if circumstances brought about this situation, then KitchenAid should go the extra step and do what is needed to support their customers. Would anyone buy a car from a company who could not get parts? The Kitchen Aid solution to just wait 6 months or more without the use of their oven is unacceptable.Ordered
Given a delivery date and confirmation
5 weeks later I call back and am told the order was cancelled.
No email, no notice no nothing...
Bought it from Best BuyNov

I bought a kitchen aid dishwasher 4 months ago. It's stopped working right after one month. I called customer support and warranty, they said that they don't have any availability until next month. We waited patiently and the services guy showed up finally after one month.
He took a peak at the dishwasher for 3 minutes and claimed that the motor has stopped working. He said that he does not have an extra motor and he needs to order one. He claimed that the motor would arrive by next week and he could come and install it.
It has been 2 months now and the guy never shows up! We are calling and calling the customer support and there is no response. After a long wait time the call
Disconnects.
I would never ever recommend kitchen products to anyone ever! They have the worst customer service and they have no empathy for their customers!
I am disappointed because I over paid for this kitchen aid dishwasher.
The worst company ever people! Never ever waste your money on such cheap and low quality and off course useless products!

*******@hotmail.comBad. So bad. I attempted to order a stand mixer - placed the order, received the confirmation, saw the pending charge on my credit card, and then received an email that my order had been cancelled. I called to figure out the problem and they said it was because my billing and shipping addresses were different. I replaced the order over the phone, but never received a confirmation. The original charge was still pending on my credit card but the new purchase never showed up. I contacted KitchenAid and their representative said that the order had been cancelled because my billing and shipping addresses were different. I explained that this had happened before, and that I placed the order over the phone to make sure it didn't happen again and they said they didn't know what was wrong but their system didn't accept the order. I placed it AGAIN. The old charge was removed from my credit card, the new charge showed up as pending. I never received a confirmation of the order. A week later, after following up via email twice without response, the order showed up at my BILLING ADDRESS which I actively avoid shipping to because packages often get stolen. Luckily this was not stolen but I will never order from KitchenAid again. It's really angry! Garbage products! I bought it three weeks ago and it was broken quickly. And also too loud when I used it!We purchased a Kitchenaid Refrigerator from Rices Appliances in Bradenton, Florida. We have always purchased Subzero but were told that the $2500. 00 Kitchenaid Refrigerator would be as good as the Subzero. We have never had any problems with the Subzero we have in South Carolina at our summer home. Within the first 60 days the ice maker broke down. We had it repaired but still had problems with the ice maker freezing over. Every 2 weeks my husband has had to dump the ice and use a hair dryer to unfreeze the ice collecting on the coils. Now the refrigerator is 22 months old and the ice maker has stopped dispensing ice. I called Rices and they said because we didn't purchase the extended warranty that we would have to pay for it to be serviced this time. I can't believe that we are having all these problems with a brand new refrigerator. We will never buy another Kitchenaid Appliance. We will stick with Subzero from now on out. The warranty on the Subzero is 5 years versus the one year warranty on the Kitchenaid Refrigerator.
