Do not do business with these clowns. They refunded an active Groupon for airport parking that I did not request. Now the "deal" is not valid and now that I am out of town returning in two days, I will have to pay the full rate to the merchant for all 7 days. Of course, their customer service is apparently in another country and those people cannot speak English or understand electronic correspondence in the English language. What a mess. Thanks Groupon for being amazingly crappy at your business!No customer support useless crappy products, false advertising and refunds denied. I order a pair of leggings from Angelina's soft leggings... was sent 2... more like panty hose, luckily it had a built in skirt! Also spent 28 & on a phone tripod that is just the stand no cradle or anything else as advertised... no returns or refunds and it's useless. They have the same item on Amazon for 15 $ w the actual accessories.Purchased a HP Laptop, despite the reviews, which were poor. Item was defective, I contacted them to ask how to return for a refund. This was a very difficult process, had to argue to receive a return label. Once they received the return, they stated that refunds can only go to "Groupon Bucks", I repeatedly asked for a refund back to my credit card, to no avail. When spending this kind of money, it should be expected to receive a refund if the item was defective and returned.I purchased a ticket for an event that has been canceled amidst the COVID-19 social gathering restrictions that has affected us all. Groupon acknowledges that they rather keep your money during this time of need rather than return or credit your purchase in these current circumstances that is affecting the world. What a stand up way to show support to humanity. Your greed is real and my loyalty as a customer will remember this always.Some items excellent, some terrible. We bought a garden table which broke the first day we had it. Very difficult and costly to return, could have sent photos of the (now, useless) table, but Groupon not really interested, so no refund. I keep telling them we are nowhere near the city they keep sending me vouchers for (restaurants etc), and what our nearest city actually IS, but despite promising to look into it, they haven't.Don't think I'll be using Groupon again.Purchased two suits that were poor quality. Returned them for a refund only to find that everything is handled online, which is extremely frustrating. There isn't any support from humans, and all I want to know is when I can expect my refund. Based on this cat and mouse game of trying to get a refund processed, I will NOT purchase goods with them again. The refund process should be just as efficient as when they process my payment at the time of sale. They lost me!They never helped me even after they tell you to ask for support via emails! Groupon spare me the reply back because its not worth your time anymore! I recommend not using groupon because third party merhcants can take your money not provide you with product and groupon will not do anything about it! Groupon use to have superb customer service and now because many use them they have no more care for consumers!I wish groupon cared about their customers as much as money. It's almost like the find pleasure in stealing from customers! I will never use groupon again for as long as I live. If they just updated their refund policy and "fine print" then they would likely have a loyal customer base, but obviously the owner didn't get past 3rd grade and doesn't know a thing about business.Accidentally put two same orders since the first order took very long time to go through which I thought failed. Just in a minute, I contacted customer service and wanted to cancel on of them. There has no phone # to contact only chat or email. But the agent did nothing, only say "sorry, sorry". Very bad experience and not sure if it can be happened in US. I guess groupon will be OUT BUISNESS soon.After this pandemic Groupon has gone beyond downhill! Tons of issues with the app
Freezing? Or not available to open or check out?! I bought 2 vouchers and never was notified that they had canceled on me. They refund it back credit And I can't even use it because the website keeps freezing I've been on here for the last for two! There's no customer service phone number and live agent isn't even available via text! Coupon needs to fix this and get back on board this is horrible!NEVER purchase a 3rd party voucher for goods or services through Groupon. Companies will very often not honor these vouchers. Companies can go our of business, or change terms at any time, and you will be out the money. Groupon has absolutely Terrible customer service, and No telephone contact. You can also purchase direct (without voucher) but Merchandise that I purchased has been low quality import garbage. Very Unhappy with pretty much every transaction with groupon. I'm done!The first time I found out about Groupon I was excited about the discounts, never fails to give a happy face, thanks Groupon. All the negative reviews are probably posted by angry Businesses who are losing money because they decided Groupon is not making them money, well you people decide to use Groupon to advertise for you than you don't to pay for their services, honestly doesn't make much sense. But I am a very very happy customer!I contacted customer support to get a refund for an unused Groupon that I purchased and was unable to use due to the fact that the merchant went out of business before I was able to claim the service. First of all, you cannot contact anyone via phone, so you're left with an online chat center located who knows where. After explaining the situation multiple times, they flat out refused to offer me a credit or a refund. In light of what happened, I basically feel that Groupon stole the money from me and kept it all for themselves without the defunct merchant or I reaping any benefit whatsoever. Terrible policy, poor customer service, and dishonest business practices all the way around.I was told by one customer service rep that while they couldn't refund my card they could give me credit to a future service. Then I got a separate email essentially saying that my Groupon expired and thus it was my fault. Obviously I couldn't use my Groupon a week ago (one week before it expired) because I was in MANDATORY SHELTER IN PLACE. Come on really? You're now penalizing people during COVID-19? I bet you'll get a lot of legal action coming your way.I will never do business with Groupon again. Took $800 of my money and did nothing to help resolve a situation. Only would keep saying that Sorry, you should have read the fine print which is very vague with most of their offers and deals. Stay far, far away. Horrible customer service, impossible to speak to anyone and the customer service reps appear to be located outside of the US.I've noticed without a doubt any clients I have that purchase through Groupon have a false idea of what quality services can provide. It caters to cheap ppl looking for the best deal and act entitled when they pay a fraction of the price.
Don't use Groupon if you want your service to be great service most people will see that it's cheap and treat you differently. This is my honest opinion from first hand experience over and over again.I ordered a bowling package and I could not find any fine print on the purchase I was looking to see what the limitations were and nothing showed so I purchased it, after I purchased and it popped up that it's not valid until 24 hours after purchase and I can't get a refund I've tried calling they send you to the app I've gone in the chat and nobody responds this is terrible I will never buy from Groupon againI have multiple unused groups I purchased that for one reason or another over the years expired and Groupon is USELESS to try to get a hold of to follow through with their guaranteed promise that whatever money you spent you will not lose out on. I have over spent $1000 on Groupon's that I will never recoup. They also removed them from my account if I search on my laptop but I can still see them on my iPad and phone apps. They need shut down.Got a coupon as a gift for a hair cut. Apparently, the coupon isn't even sold by the salon and is instead from an employee who hasn't worked there in two years, and it is them who get the money, not the company, they've tried to take it down but can't since they didn't post it. I can't get a return because the customer service page doesn't load no matter how I try and there is no number anywhere to call. Wish I could give 0 starsI received a Groupon voucher from someone as a Xmas gift (12/21) to a resturant that was out of business way back in Aug/21, three months prior to the purchase. Except now. They've changed a lot. And the customer service sucks. I've been trying to get my issue resolved for over a week and they just keep giving me the run around asking me for the same information I've been giving to them since day one. It's completely ridiculous and now they've also stolen my money!
STAY AWAY FROM GROUPON!Searched for discount for Sam's membership. Groupon offered one for $20.00. When the verification did not show up in my email, I contacted Groupon and they said they couldn't provide a refund -- all within 20 minutes. To me, this is a fraudulent charge for a FAKE authorization code. Purchase from Groupon, take your risk. And by the way, there was no fine print.Answers to questions seem to be answered by a computer instead of a live human! Also I'm not satisfied with the illustration that your getting a better deal through Groupon 20 instead of 45! I paid the twenty spent two days trying to get my new Sam's card, only to find out, the small print says I must be 6months expired to get the deal! Why did you give me a voucher in the first place? Wait I know you wanted to lock me in with a refund I have to spend with you. Tell people upfront about the 6month expiration clause!Valentines Day surprise was just that. I had ordered roses but got carnations instead. For $52 I had hoped a nicer flower group would be delivered. I'm very dissatisfied. Don't buy the inter floral Groupon deal!Ordered set of 48 brush heads on January 12th the product not delivered after 8 days, sent more than 10 times emails to: *******@groupon.com
No response / no product and no my money back in one word: they are scammers!
I don't advise anyone to buy from groupon just a headache
