    Booked a flight with trip.com in early March. However, the Vietnamese government has suspended the visa waiver program for french citizens due to the virus. Thus, I have no choice but to cancel the flight. I have tried calling and contacting trip.com, however, the only thing that they can say was « sorry, this is a non refundable flight, if you would like to have a refund, please liaise with the airline direct ». The customer service are not helpful at all. There no point to buy from them as they do no provide any services.
    Airline company (check AirItaly) go to liquidation. Trip.com didn't even update me. Found myself when all history with Covid happened. My ticket doesn't exists around a month. On question about refund they just saying it's not in their system! But it's on every single official website including airline's! They still refusing to do refund, no ticket, no flight! Strongly disappointed!
    Trip.com your handling of the Covid-19 virus has been absolutely appalling. I received an email on 2/6/2020 saying if i cancels my flight before it's departure it will be eligible for a full refund. I am now being told this email was a lie and that your company will not stand behind it. They will stand behind their second email sent a month after the first on 3/6/2020. I have used your site many times and i am appalled by this. Trip.com
    Due to the Corona virus outbreak, I needed to cancel my trip. Philippine Airlines said rebooking was free for flights from Japan and Korea. I inquired and called them up (25 minutes of talking, US number from Japan!) To be fair the call center agent was helpful. But when they emailed me the price to pay, wow it is like I need to buy a new ticket because of their CHANGE FEE. I cannot believe this company. I'll never book with them again.
    Trip.com is a perfect example of what a failure is. Inconsistent solutions, uncooperative, uncoordinated and a disaster. Never use this app for hotel and flight bookings. They will randomly change it without consulting you. Purchased baggage doesn't exist and refund will mever happen. Its the biggest scam. Their agents are arrogant but clueless of what to do
    I booked and paid for my flight five days ago. They still gave issues the ticket and each time I speak to them they promise they will do it within 24 hours yet still five days later I have nothing! Don't trust this company. My flight leaves in a few days and I have no ticket. Now they are telling me to book elsewhere but they still have my funds and the prices have gone up. They 'promised' they would cover the price difference yet they can't even issue tickets!
    I made the mistake of once booking with trip.com. It was a very unsatisfactory experience but far worse afterwards they kept spamming me with offers and junk email. Despite clicking on the unsubscribe link at least 3 times the spam continued waking me at any time. I eventually found a way to contact them and told them there was no chance of me ever using them again and please delete all my detail which they said they would but it simply reduced the frequency for a while now 2 years later it's ramping up again. I advise you to avoid using them at all costs.
    I booked a flight for 2300 Canadian Dollars and after one week they told me they cannot book the flight at that price and I have to buy another flight which cost 3000 CAD. They said "after you use your flight we may return the difference", but I was sure they wouldn't. They refund my money but I had to spend more and buy a ticket from another site. They wanted to attract people with good price and then make them pay more.
    Worst support ever. Respond the next day without any solutions. Changed my flight destination to another country without my agreement while another options I've found easily. And the worst I cannot speak with airlines directly because I have paid to "travel agent" who gives a $#*! on their customers.
    Worst app ever. Of course it's low cost but does that mean that we need to be treated like animals? Well maybe it's not worth it. No change, no cancellation, no adapting. In the middle of a $#*!ing pandemic, are they for real? This website makes money by ripping people off.
    I booked quite a few flights to and throughout Brazil. The only agency that refuses to refund my cancelled flight is trip.com! They keep telling me it is non refundable and that i need to contact the airline, which (after 100 tries to reach them on every possible way) tells me that only trip.com can refund. The customer service is incredibly bad! It was not my first booking with trip.com, but definitely the last! Stay away from them, if you want to keep your rights as a traveler!
    I booked a flight with a layover. One leg got canceled a week in advance by the airline. Trip offered me a refund ONLY for that leg and ONLY in the form of travel vouchers. Furthermore, they canceled my request to change the itenerary. As if it does me any good to fly halfway to my destination! I am laughing at how insane this is. I never take the time to leave bad reviews, but this was a level beyond anything I've ever experienced from a company.
    Trip.com says "If you'd like to change or cancel your booking, the Trip.com app makes it easy." It does not make it easy at all and if anything makes it much harder than booking though the airline directly. I have not written a 1 star review before but this is the first time I have done so. What a disappointing customer experience.
    Booked a hotel&flight package, flight was changed by the airline, so then made a request to change my hotel booking date to match my new flight but all three hotel- flight- package department customer support line been kicking balls with each other refusing to assist with my request. Took 30+mins nothing helped. In result I canceled my entire booking which took the longest for refund. Never book with trip.com again
    Very disappointed with their service and I won't use Trip.com anymore. My parents' flight was in Mar and I requested to change it since early Feb. I contacted "Trip.com" many times through email, phone call and even messager. The same answered I received was: "We will submit your request and get back to you", and nothing came out. Today, after the flight departed, I was told that it was no longer able to change it and they could only request try to get the tax. It is very irresponsible of them.
    I should have done my homework on trip.com but didn't which lead to me paying $100 in cab fares and $60 in checked luggage only to find out my flight was cancelled. All the airlines were sold out. I finally got another flight and trip doesn't put your info in when booking they use theirs so I never got my new flight confirmation. The company is a joke and if you read this review and book with them it's your own fault for what you get. There's a reason it has a 1 star.
    I had four flights cancelled due to the pandemic and only one of them has been refunded. I have been in constant communication with their support for 7 weeks and I keep being told different things by different people. It's just endless excuses and templated responses. You should get your refund any day now... We're still waiting on the airline... We will update you as soon as we know more... I'm so sick and tired of it. The money NEVER arrives and they NEVER get back to you. This is the worst experience I've ever had with any company, ever. I'm a frequent traveller and I will not be booking with Trip.com in future.
    I booked a hotel during the Texas Winter Storm recently and i was unable to stay there due to severe road conditions. The Manage Booking option online would not allow me to cancel the hotel booking indicating that the charge was nonrefundable. I contacted customer service and the agent had rehearsed and scripted reasons for every comment I made to get my money refunded. What a shame taking advantage of winter storm victims.
    I bought tickets to Tampa a few days ago. My original flight to Tampa was cancelled. I have been on the phone more than 10 times with no answers in regards to new flight to Tampa. I bought the insurance and they are now telling me I can't get tickets refunded. I tried to call airline and they done recognize the booking information. Is this company fraudulent?

    My flight was cancelled and they kept my money. Total scam. Avoid at all costs, don't go for the deal, they'll just take your money.
    I had a road trip and hotel booked on the east coast—I live in the Midwest—on Feb 16,2021. I had to cancel my trip due to widespread hazardous road conditions and road closures from the historic and extremely dangerous winter storm that affected half of the country. Evidently, this kind of unusual, dangerous, declared state-of-emergency event is not a reasonable excuse for a refund with Trip.com. The cancellation service was poor and slow, lots of "we'll call you back in 2 hours," and "my manager will call you tomorrow," and then a vague email saying that they contacted their "supplier" and they cannot cancel the booking. I called the hotel directly and they confirmed that Trip.com not any other third party has made an attempt to cancel. Do not waste your time or money booking with this company! They do not have integrity, stand by their service and do not have their customer's satisfaction—or personal safety—in mind. Outrageously terrible.
    I had the worst experience booking accomodation through this site. The customer services and cancellation policies are appalling and they are not efficient with responses or help. They are not looking for the best interests of their customers and have to enquire everything through an external "supplier". Therefore, making changes to your bookings is a hard task and you will spend an hour on the phone to their customer service team to not even reach a positive resolution.
    After trying to get hold of someone at Trip.com - downloading app etc etc (which is also very bad) I eventually had to get a Spanish speaking guy to phone contact the Mexican airline to confirm I was booked on flight as the airline website wasn't accepting my ref given by trip.com- and he then found out that they had given me the wrong booking ref number. Avoid. Go direct
    Booked flights for the family to Fiji. Sadly flights canceled due to COVID-19. Been waiting for 18 months for our refund. Total scam as airline confirmed all refunds processed yet Trip.com continue to deny. Just another corrupt Chinese owned company. A mistake I won't make again.
