Gravity Defyer的评论
Bought 2 pairs of shoes that arrived too late for my trip despite paying for expedited shipping. Multiple email requests for an RA form were ignored and no one called back off the 877 number. So I just sent them back, and they shipped back to me again. Now in a credit card dispute to protect myself.
SF, New YorkI ordered sandals. There were so many useless Velcro straps and buckles I cut must of them off and rearranged and reseed what I could actually use. Sanders are comfortable but do not stand out as that much better than other brands I have
Sports shoes ordered size 7w received one size 7 one size 6 1/2. Forget the wide? Returned Almost 3 weeks ago. Have called three times with three promises of shipping right away. Still no shoes
Stay away from these people unless you do not mind spending over a month to get your orderVery excited to try these shoes although they did not work for me. I was supposed to have a free return label which I emailed them numerous times and they never would respond to me so I went ahead and paid to ship the shoes back in like new condition because they just were not right for me and they refused to give me a refund. Not a damn thing was wrong with these shoes and I will fight this. $#*!ty $#*!ty customer serviceI will never buy from them again. One of 2 prs of shoes I bought (Nova) wouldn't even feet my left foot though I went a full size up. I returned with proof of their receipt a week ago. When it was not acknowledged, I wrote to Customer Service twice -both unacknowledged. I can't review Nova because I bought them as a Guest with an auto-generated password. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.I have been trying to get a return label from this company since March 2020. FedEx can't read the one that was provided. I wanted to exchange for a larger size. They won't return my emails or telephone calls. Now I just want my money back. Wow, worst of the worst companies of all times. There are a lot of other companies offering the same quality sneaker. Go with any of them. Stay away from Gravity Defyer!I'm a retired veteran, on my feet all day. I tried this short boot/shoes with zipper sides in black. After awhile the upper started to move outward from the soles. Although no rips of the shoes the rippers tab's broke off so I was key-rings. The shoes are true to size so don't buy them bigger or smaller.
Sorry to write, I don't recommend this product for the price is high and for the quality of time and service I used.
I'm going to buy regular shoes, for I couldn't find benefits in these shoe product.Quality of shoes are great. If they don't fit and you send them back, you are stuck with a credit! I wore mine around the house for a couple weeks, never went outside. I had back pain from them, returned them within the 30 days and was denied a refund because they were 'not like new'. Now I have to keep ordering different pairs until I find one I like. I would not recommend. Terrible customer service! These are the cheapest made shoes I've ever seen! I bought them mid January & its now beginning of April & the sole is detected on the bottom of one shoe. There is a hole on top of shoe already in other shoe! They help NONE whatsoever with my back pain! I have owned $30 shoes better than these! Dont waste your money! I wouldn't give one star for rating on these shoes but it makes you click one at least! In less than 5 months my "Mighty Walk Athletic Shoes" are worn out. I am not overweight, walk an average of 50 miles/month and one side of the heel on each shoe is just gone. Customer service offered a 30% discount on the next pair. My Asics and Nikes lasted longer.
I think the design concept for this shoe works best on a very flat surface. Walking on a "crowned" asphalt street seems like swimming uphill.I purchased the gravity defeyer shoes on 10/30/21. I took them as my only pair of shoes on a cruise. The construction under the big toe broke down and I was walking on my toe which had surgery. The shoe structure disintegrated, I walked on my big toe very painfully and had to buy new shoes when we returned on 12/ 31/21. I have written 2G defy and emailed them with Proof of purchase and have at this time, 03/12/22, not heard a word from them.Just received their UpBov 2.1 Therapeutic Sandals. You could say the only "therapy" they provide is the effort to keep them on. These are really slip-ons, as they lack a heelstrap to secure them. Walking & descending stairs feels perilous, as the "sandals" can slip off at any time. Tried tightening the 2 top straps, which was difficult (on one of them, the little metal tongue popped off & couldn't be replaced). So, basically, unusable. Buyer beware!I'm a nurse and bought these with high hopes. Left shoe without cushion, literally felt like someone had already worn it a year. Right shoe was fine. Obviously defective. Emailed twice and called customer service. I was told they would send return label. Never heard from again. Price does not equal quality. Very disappointing. I have to have good shoes since I'm on my feet all day. These are not it. Keep your money and buy local. The lack of customer service for >$100 shoes is not acceptable. LEARN MY LESSON! DON'T BUY! I'm stuck with expensive shoes I can barely wear an hour on the weekend. :(I purchased my gdefy black leather slip on shoes in March, it's now June and both backs of the heels have worn threw the material to the rubber core. The company is willing to send me another pair of the same shoes and I would be responsible for the postage. I just wanted to send the shoes back and get a refund since it's obvious to me it's a manufacturing defect they haven't corrected. They were rude and just talked over me when I asked for my money back. I'm 57 yrs old and have many pairs of shoes, this has never happened with any other shoes I've ever owned in my entire life. I can't figure out how to download a photo from my phone to my computerI've worn Gravity Defyers for about a month, most recently for two weeks in Spain, which has lots of cobblestone streets and uneven surfaces. The shoes' heels' contact surface is only 2-7/8" wide whereas the entire heel width is 3-3/4". That inequality makes the shoe laterally unstable, especially on uneven surfaces. I would not buy them again. Other than that major shortcoming, the shoes are comfortable. They ship fast but if you have a return, beware. I bought two pair and needed to exchange one pair and get a refund for the other. They received my returns over three weeks ago and I've made numerous attempts to call them and still have not received my exchange or refund.? Buyer beware.I purchased the shoes, wore them in my house as recommended by them and returned shoes because they were making my heel injury worse. I had possession of them for 10 days. They were shipped back and received by GD. Twenty days later I contacted them and asked about my credit. I got an email that they were in "not like new" condition and so would not do a refund but told me they would give me a credit to purchase their products. These were the most expensive shoes I had ever purchased. Conveniently they had no phone number in the email to make the process more difficult, no photo to support their claim and the store credit was impossible to verify because I had checked out as a guest shopper. They are running a scam. Do not buy from them. Thanks for the reviews... Now I know not to go with this brand which such poor results. Too many lace holes, falling apart at 1.5 yrs, terrible return policy, etc.The adds looked good in Diabetes Magazine but I'm glad to hold on the purchaseAt first, I loved these shoes! They come with extra insoles to tailor the fit better to your foot. They are very comfortable and relieved my pain on walks. However, after 6 months of minimal wear (I walk 1-2 miles a day 3 times per week) the inside of both shoes are tearing apart. I attempted to reach out to the manufacturer regarding this issue & they pointed me back to Amazon as the seller/vendor. Amazon said the return window had closed after 30 days of purchase. Too bad as I would have continued to purchase these shoes for years to come. Way too expensive to be falling apart at 6 months with minimal walking. Would not purchase again due to poor manufacturer customer support.I purchased 2 pairs of womens' shoes. The $35 pair fit fine but the $135 pair did not fit. Neither box contained the "promised" return label. I have called 3 times and emailed at least 4 pleading for the return label. I want my money back so I can shop for a different shoe. Guess I'll have to deal with my credit card people and go through the "FRAUD" process. These people do not know how to do business but, they do know how to keep your hard earned money. STAY AWAY FROM THIER SITE!I bought 2 pairs of shoes. The first pair is more comfortable than most shoes I own, however the laces only lasted a month before they split apart. Luckily they send you a second pair of laces, which are holding as of now. I bought a second pair of shoes, however at the time of my purchase they did not have a wide option. I thought I would give them a try because, depending on the shoe, I can sometimes wear a "normal" width. They were too narrow. I sent them back a couple of days after receiving them. I have called 4 times to check on the status of my return since they were delivered on 7/27/21. I initially emailed with no response. I then called, only to be told the return would process soon. I called on 7/30/21,8/4/21, and 8/7/21. The person I talked to on the August 7 finally put in an urgent refund request to have the case closed in 24-48 hours. It has now been almost 72 hours and I still have not received any indication that the return was even processed. The return is not even showing on my account with the seller as of today. Please note, no one ever responded to my original email on 7/30/21 until I called on 8/7/21. I have not received any correspondence since despite trying to get a hold of someone.I ordered a pair of these, but there were so many holes for the laces that I could not work them because I have arthritis I sent them back and they would not refund my money, but gave me a "store credit." I ordered a pair with velcro fasteners. The tongue of that style shoe came up so high on the front of my leg, at the ankle, that it rubbed a blister on the front of my leg. I sent them back and they would not refund my money. I feel that I have made an honest effort to wear their product, but they just do not fit my feet. So unless you can afford to lose $180, plus shipping, don't buyt these! The one thing people don't understand is that if your feet do not have the correct arch support for a long time your body and the muscle have a memory. Their for if you don't know what type of arch support you need and you start to use a shoe that gives you that support for about 3 weeks your body will want to pull the muscles back into the position it is familiar with. Causing that pain the best solution is to go into a shoe store like The Walking Company that has professional staff members to identify the type of arch support you need. Don't by it on line.Returned shoes within two weeks as they were horrible for my feet, only wore them indoors, returned in original packaging. Still only store credit. Have been disputing the charge on my Amex for months now. Stay away it's not worth the hassle.Ordered a pair of $165 walking shoes for my wife who had painful foot issues; could have bought a different brand same day in the mall but liked the idea of the 2-day shipping so took a chance, chose 2-day, was walked through the purchase process then basically dumped out with purchase confirmation for 5-7 day shipping. Apparently, the $20 2-day shipping simply fell off the order and was completely forgotten. Now, my poor wife gets to wait an additional 5 days in pain because the website couldn't negotiate 2-day add-on shipping and never mentioned that fact during purchase. Poor experience. Buy from Amazon.Bought a pair of shoes for my husband and they began falling apart within a year. I would not waste my money on their shoes. Too much to pay for them, when they do not last over a year. To pay this amount for a paid of shoes and they begin falling apart within a year speaks of the quality of the product. We were very disappointed with the company when we contacted them to report the problem. The asked for pictures which I sent along to them, but they said they never received them within the allotted time. Never expected them to do anything after sending the pictures. Their response was seemingly "Too bad: The warranty has expired." Never ever would I buy from this company again!
