    April 20,2020 they had 50% off tarte shape tape concealers for 48 hrs. When you try to check out, it says there is an error with your credit card payment which is completely false because everything completed was correct. Your order is not processed but you are still charged with an unauthorized payment. This is fraud. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I was on the phone for 3 hrs and I was told the same $#*!ing message over and over again. I will NEVER recommend this brand to anyone.
    I have ordered two items from Tarte on August 2. I was provided a tracking number that does not seem to exist. I have called Tarte customer service multiple times but am unable to get through to anybody. I have also tried live chat three times and someone completely stopped responding to me after I provided my email and tracking number. I will never order from the Tarte website ever again. So unprofessional. Will I receive my product? It's August 25th and I have gotten zero updates.
    11/30/2020 Tried placing an order but kept getting this message Your order could not be submitted. Please double check your billing address, credit card number and CVV carefully so we can get you your order asap! Thank you for your patience! Called customer service followed all their advice and still nothing worked all cards have been charged? What is going on here. Keep saying something is wrong with my information I keep telling them all my cards work and no where near their limits. 15 different cards and had two other people try with there information and address and guess what they also were not able to make a purchase. Tartecosmetics you really need to get this fixed! Happly went to other places and made purchases on each card over 700 each and guess what none of those sales went to you and none were declined hmmmmmmm? They also shipped my items from a previouse sale in a flimsy box that had items missing from a previous order my two year old could pack better. Pictures submitted still waiting on refund?
    I ordered foundation, which is not cheap, I think around $36. They sent me a smashed up lipstick jammed in a wad of crumpled tissue paper. When I purchased from them previously, their products were carefully wrapped, but not this one! It was a mess, and not what I ordered; I don't even wear lipstick, so I called customer service. They were unsurprised and unapologetic. They said they would refund my purchase cause they didn't even have the product I bought. No offer to help me find a similar product as a replacement, no attempt to make up for what they did, which certainly didn't look accidental, and still no apology! Don't buy from these crooks, they do NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!
    I just needed to vent that their shipment sucks! I ordered at the end of November and it says I will not get my order until January! I only ordered 2 small items. They've done this before and by the time I got my order, my lipsticks were melted. And then it took forever and a day to get a replacement on that. Never order from these guys directly, no matter how tempting the discounts are. So not worth it... They must be shipping on a snail, that is blind.
    I would have given no star if I could. I purchased a very expensive bamboo foundation brush. The entire hair piece cane out of its bed. You can tell there is not much glue to keep It down. Customer service said we are sorry but you need to take it to where you bought it. A joke
    Ordered on 11-27-18, it is now 12-11-18. I still don't have my order. It may arrive today but, who knows? I never ordered anything that has taken this long. It took over a week to just process. Next time I'll skip the sale and just go the 30 miles to Ulta and pay full price.
    Worst customer service - No one answers the phone, no one returns emails. Site crashed while was making a payment - so i ordered again and ended up with 2 identical orders. Returned one and never gos a refund. No one responds to my emails, live chat is automated and just asks for email info, calling customer service - no one pics up. Don't order through their site - better off ordering from Sephora or some other site. I would not buy their products anymore. This place is a SCAM.
    Absolutely terrible customer service team, make it impossible to change an order even immediately after it was placed and leave you waiting forever for a response.
    Absolutely ridiculous. Could not place an order due to your stupid website not letting me type in the entire address! People live in long named places. Fix it or you'll lose a LOT of business
    Waited over a month for my order, tracking wouldn't update past details received, waited the extra 15 days for corona delays and still nothing. Contacted them and all they could say was there's delays keep waiting, 2 weeks later still nothing so I contact them again and they tell me its lost and they won't offer replacements and instead I will get a refund in 2 weeks. Absolutely awful. No one contacted me to tell me it was lost I had to contact them twice instead. As far as I can see my package was lost before it was even sent.
    Although I liked the products the first time I ordered them it s been now two times that the company failed to deliver them in Greece. Unacceptable, the reason this time is that I ordered 5 items and I couldn't have ordered more than 3 so the parcel went back. I don't understand the company should have informed me…thanks again tarte. Terrible costumer and delivery service
    So today I ordered some Tarte products because they were having a promo in which you paid 35 dollars for 4 products. When I was checking out and clicked the button tu submit my purchase the website showed a sign which said that I had to check my billing data or credit card info cause it was wrong. I double checked and, again, I clicked the button to finalize my purchase, however, the Tarte website kept showing that sign. I decided to check my Bank account and with surprise I found out that they had charged me twice!. I never got a confirmation order number and when I look up my Tarte account it says that I haven´t ordered anything yet. Awful experience... Now I am trying to contact the Tarte Team, but this situation is very disgusting for being my first purchase. Never buying again in this store!
    No one is ever available on the Live Chat function, I have never gotten a rep on the phone before spending over 2 hours on hold, and its taken WEEKS to email me back-this is BEFORE Covid-19 delays. Shame on me for giving them another chance.
    I have bought this product several times, just because there are not many other options for NON waterproof liquid eyeliners. Every time I buy it, it's great for about a week and I am happy. Then, inevitably, the ink starts coming out in huge globs and runs into my eye, painfully and uncomfortably smearing my makeup and making me rinse my eyes and reapply everything. I have been applying liquid eyeliner for years, and have achieved pretty nice, thin winged lines with other brands of liner. However, when they are sold out or only available in waterproof, I opt for the maneater and hate myself for doing so every time. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this overpriced messy product.
    Won't answer calls, won't return emails, won't pick up on the chat function. If I could give negative stars, I would. Their products may be good but their business model is terrible.
    I had ordered the 3 mini mascaras for $25.00. I hadn't received them for awhile, so I dedcided to look online at my orders to see if it said anything. It didn't even show that I had ordered the 3 mini mascaras! I was sure I did, so to be sure I looked on my bank account and $25.00 WAS taken out from Tarte! I called them to see what's going on. They looked me up and said that I DID NOT ORDER THE 3 MINI MASCARAS! I told them that I did and that they took it out of my bank account from my debit card! They still insisted they didn't! They were pleasant enough about it and the woman said that she'll look into this and call me back. She said it may take a day or two, that was fine with me, I just wanted to find out what happened to my order. Strangely enough, I received the mascaras the next day! I was happy! I called to tell them and they were nice about it and seemed glad that I received it. But, they didn't have ANY record that I ordered those mascaras. At least I did get them, but if I hadn't, they would have had NO record (for some reason) I did have it on my bank app on my phone, so I would have had to get my bank statement mailed to me before they usually did and mailed it to Tarte to prove to them that they charged me! Luckily, that didn' t happen! I would like to say that they were very nice through all of this, I did end up speaking with 2 different people. They obviously just don't have great record keeping! They should have had that in record, somewhere that I ordered it. I would like to add that the all 3 mascaras are AWESOME! The camera, lights action is my favorite so far among the 3. The 3 that came with that are: Lights, Camera, Action--Big Ego--Maneater... I have only tried the last 2 one time, but they seem great! I was really impressed with the Lights, Camera, Action! It really appears to make your lashes long and thick! No clumping. Yet! I would say the 3 of them seem to have ALOT of product in them an the brushes are loaded with mascara! No dryness! You know, those mascaras that look so dried out and the're new! Not the case! If you happen to see the 3 mini mascara sale again, TRY THEM! I think they are about 3/4 of a regular tube, that's pretty good for a good mascara for about $8.33 a tube! Especially if you usually pay $15-$25 for one!
    I've been using make up from this company for almost 8 years now. It is by far the best cosmetic line I have ever used. I am a professional make up artist and I use this for almost all of my jobs. I perform so well in last so very long. They have great prices awesome customer service and they do a ton of wonderful sales all throughout the year
    I loved their cosmetics but they just lost a customer with their poor customer service. I received an email telling me I can complete a survey if I want to stop points from expiring. Fair enough, so I went to the website and no survey to be found. Once asking in the chat where I can complete the survey, I was told it wasn't on there anymore and I would need to make a purchase. If this was the rule, I would understand but that's not what the options were. They kept sending me the same info I received in the email. But wouldn't understand that I didn't want to make a purchase at the time. Just a scam.
    I ordered 3 Shape Tape concealers only to receive two lipsticks and a hydrator, I have waiting ages for it to arrive. Tried to contact chat and customer services and the chat do not reply and the customer service email replies with a generic email written by someone that appears to be a teen on poppers!
    I recently purchased a 7 piece set for AUD $84. The order arrived minus the foundation, my main reason for making the purchase. Tarte did not notify me that they were sending me an incomplete order. If they had, I would have requested to cancel it. Now to fix the problem, I've been given a promo code which a, can't be used to buy the missing item, and b, offers less discount than what is currently offered on the website! $12 does not come close to being adequate to repurchase what I ordered. After having to deal with your appalling customer service I definitely will not have a "gorgeous day". If you really want to call yourself "customer service" then actually provide the service rather than continually causing disappointment in a loyal customer. I have read countless posts online about customers receiving incorrect orders and Tarte refusing to resend the correct item. CLEARLY there is a problem that you need to sort out. The fact that this has been occurring for more than 2 years, and twice personally, makes me wonder if this is just an extremely unethical business tactic, as there is no way that a company could accidentally send the wrong order with this frequency. Promoting specials that you cannot fulfil and then refusing to fix it for the customer is no way any business should be run. I have been very flexible as to the solutions I was willing to accept, including waiting for the item to come back into stock, or as an alternative, a concealer in the same colour which is in stock, but you have not been willing to help me. Disappointing Tarte!
    The payment failed to order several times, although it did get taken off in my bank account. I tried calling customer service, and that is where Tarte has the MOST flaws. Every minute they say that they can hold your place in line and call you back, but every time customer service leaves a voicemail saying that I can only contact them by calling them. ALSO their standard voicemail message is that your wait time is "just over 10 minutes", but they have said the same message for AN HOUR now. Unbelievable.
    I don't have a problem with the products but the customer service is very terrible. I placed my order without choosing a free sample. So, I reached out the customer service to help me add it to my order. But, they only said they couldn't do that for me. And, now I am so unsatisfied with this purchasing. I have been using Tarted products for many years, but this is what I got for being your loyal customer? They can't even give me that sample. So, I'm not going to buy Tarte's products anymore. Do you know? This situation happened with my friend when she bought Origins products, they responded and add the free sample to her order immediately. If Tarte is not going to improve the service. This company will lose many customers in the future since other brands are doing a lot better than Tarte.
    I already love Tarte Cosmetics products, however, they sent me a product that leaked during shipping. I contacted customer service and had a delightful experience. It was resolved quickly and in a very courteous manner. I will definitely continue to be a customer and recommend Tarte to friends
    I keep getting emails offering me 15% off a specific product. Each attempt to use it says in my cart that specific item is excluded from coupons. I have talked to Customerservice twice. Once I was told they would get back to me by email soon. The second time no response at all. In the meantime I have received two more emails with codes off for the specific product I have already had trouble with that once again don't work. There's lots of other products out there sold by companies that actually care about the customer. I don't need Tarte.
